Large Crowd Attends Fan Appreciation Day
August 24, 2003 | Cowboy Football
A crowd of over 1,000 Oklahoma State fans waited outside the Athletics Center last night for a chance to get items signed by their favorite OSU student-athletes. Members of the soccer and football teams signed autographs for fans for over an hour during the third-annual Fall Sports Fan Appreciation Day held Thursday night.
Fans formed long lines waiting for autographs from wide receiver Rashaun Woods and quarterback Josh Fields, but most in attendance were able to get signatures from their favorite Cowboys and Cowgirls.
The soccer team opens its season Saturday night as they face the SMU Mustangs in a 7 p.m. start. The football team will open their season at Nebraska next weekend.
