Matt Hardison
July 03, 2003 | Cowboy Football
The subject of a major position swich in the spring, Hardison made the move from tight end to offensive line, and the results were very positive. In fact, Hardison's move to the offensive line will further solidify that group. He proved during spring drills to be very effective from the left tackle spot, and that will probably be the spot he occupies when the Cowboys travel to Lincoln for the season opener. Hardison isn't without game experience, but he has natural abilities that could make him an emerging standout on the offensive line.
2002: Hardison started one game as a tight end, and played in six games overall. His lone start came against Texas A&M in the Cowboys double tight-end package. He had one reception against SMU for four yards.
Personal: Born Oct. 29, 1980, Matt is the son of Jim and Rita Hardison. He is majoring in sociology at Oklahoma State.
