2002: Smith completed the season with 24 tackles, four for losses, and one sack while contributing three pass breakups and three quarterback hurries. Finished with three tackles, including one for loss, against Baylor. Recorded one tackle against Kansas. Finished with three solo tackles against Texas Tech. Had a QB hurry against Texas A&M. Had a sack against Nebraska. Made two assisted tackles against Kansas State. Returned to action from injury and recorded two tackles and one pass breakup vs. Texas. Sat out the SMU and UCLA games with an injured knee. Made three tackles, including one for loss, and a QB hurry against Northern Iowa. Finished with seven tackles against Louisiana Tech, including one for a loss.
2001: Year-long starter at a defensive end spot. He finished the season with 33 total tackles, seven tackles for minus-47 yards and four sacks for minus-34 yards. He also had three pass deflections and a quarterback hurry.
Junior College: Smith was honorable mention All-Jayhawk Conference his sophomore season at Garden City CC.
High School: Earned first-team Florida All-State honors as a defensive end at Carol City High School in Miami. He was also the MVP in the Dade-Broward County All-Star game, and the defensive MVP in the Shrine Bowl game matching Florida and Georgia high school all-stars.
Personal: Born July 7, 1979, in St. James, Jamaica, Khreem is the son of Lavern Baker. He is majoring in sociology at Oklahoma State.
