2002: Richmond ended the season sharing the team sack lead with seven, as well as 55 overall tackles. He had six tackles and a sack in the Houston Bowl win over Southern Miss. Made five stops, including a sack, against Oklahoma. Finished with four tackles and a sack against Baylor. Was credited with three stops against KU. Finished with five solo tackles, including a 12-yard sack, against A&M with a QB hurry. Made four tackles, including a sack and fumble recovery, against Nebraska. Recorded five tackles with a forced fumble against KSU. Was in on five tackles, including a sack, against Texas. Did not play against SMU due to injury. Was in on seven stops against UCLA. Finished with one tackle against Northern Iowa. Led the Cowboys with 10 tackles, the first double-digit tackle performance of his career, in the loss to Louisiana Tech. He also notched one sack. Was named honorable mention All-Big 12. Started in nine games.
2001: Played in all 11 games and started seven times at a defensive end spot. He finished the season with 36 total tackles, seven tackles behind the line of scrimmage for minus-20 yards, and a pair of quarterback sacks.
2000: Earned a varsity letter by playing in nine games and starting one. His start came against Texas A&M on Lewis Field. His 2000 numbers included 21 tackles, a caused fumble and a fumble recovery.
1999: His redshirt season at OSU.
High School: Talented and versatile athlete who started four years at Douglass as a linebacker and quarterback. His defensive numbers as a high school senior included 108 total tackles, seven sacks, four fumble recoveries and two interceptions. He scored four touchdowns playing on defense in 1998. He earned All-State honors by the Daily Oklahoman, Tulsa World and Oklahoma Coaches Association. He was ranked the 10th-best prospect in the state by First Down Recruiting. Richmond also started for the Douglass basketball team, and was a member of the state qualifying 400-meter relay team. Oklahoma State won the recruiting battle over Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas A&M and Kansas State.
Personal: Born July 15, 1981, Greg is the son of Cleveland Lewis and Dorothy Richmond. He is majoring in hotel & restaurant administration at Oklahoma State.
