2002: Lindsay played in 10 games and caught 11 passes for 70 yards. He finished the last three games returning punts for the Cowboys. He broke one open against Kansas for 33 yards. He tallied 134 yards on five returns against Baylor, and finished the regular season with seven yards on three returns against Oklahoma. Lindsay finished the year with 190 yards on 10 returns. As a receiver, he had one reception against Baylor for six yards. He had two catches at Texas Tech for six yards. His longest catch of the season came against Texas A&M for 14 yards. He caught two passes at Kansas State for 12 yards. Caught three passes against SMU for 15 yards, and had one reception for nine yards against Northern Iowa.
2001: Sat out due to a back injury.
2000: Played in all 11 games and started seven times. He finished the season as Oklahoma States third-leading receiver with 28 catches for 359 yards. He also had one touchdown. Lindsay led the Cowboys in punt returns with 25 returns for 229 yards. His 9.2 yards-per-return average was good for eighth-best in the Big 12 Conference that season.
1999: Saw action in nine of Oklahoma States 11 games and contributed as both a receiver and a punt returner. He had eight receptions for 86 yards, an average of more than 10 yards per catch. He also had three punt returns for 42 yards, an average of 14 yards per return.
1998: His redshirt season at Oklahoma State.
High School: His high school numbers were nothing short of phenomenal. He rushed for 2,130 yards and had 28 touchdowns as a senior, and also had 3,100 all-purpose yards. That followed a junior season in which he rushed for 1,555 yards and had 28 touchdowns. He was the leading prep rusher in the state of Colorado his senior season.
Personal: Born July 22, 1980, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Gabe is the son of Hugh and Kymbal Lindsay. He has three brothers, Tony, Matthew and Dominic. Gabe is the younger brother of former OSU quarterback Tony Lindsay. Their father played football at the University of Utah, and spent two years in the Canadian Football League. Gabe is majoring in education at Oklahoma State.
