2002: Koenig battled through injuries and saw action in only one game against Baylor.
2001: Saw limited action along the offensive front.
2000: Was a backup for the offensive line.
1999: His redshirt season at Oklahoma State.
High School: Highly regarded prospect out of Florida who SuperPrep referred to as a pass blocking offensive tackle whose athletic skills are ideal. He was rated among the top-80 prospects in talent-rich Florida by SuperPrep. Earned all-district honors after his senior season at Cape Coral, and was third-team All-State. He was also a state contender as a heavyweight wrestler. In addition to OSU, Miami, Central Florida, Auburn, Mississippi, Tulane and South Florida recruited him.
Personal: Born June 12, 1981, in Manassas, Va., Doug is the son of Robert and Cindy Koenig. He has two brothers, David, a freshman on this years squad, and Daniel. Doug is majoring in general business at Oklahoma State.
