Bryan gained playing time in 2002, and will certainly be counted on for help on the defensive side of the ball in 2003. Hes a hard worker who has earned experience with patience and determination on the practice field.
2002: Vardeman played in 11 games, and had a total of five solo tackles. He recorded one tackle in the season opener against Louisiana Tech, one against UCLA and one against SMU. He finished the season snagging one tackle against Baylor and one in the regular-season finale against Oklahoma.
High School: Two-year letterman in football and two-year letterwinner in baseball at Lawton MacArthur High School. On the football field, Vardeman was all-district and all-area according to the Lawton Constitution.
Personal: Born Dec. 3, 1980, Bryan is the son of Danny and Darla Vardeman. He is majoring in secondary education at Oklahoma State.
