Tarrell Knauls (1995-1999): Tarrell Knauls was a three-year letterman and starter and among the best defensive players in the country. Some NFL draft analysts rated him among the best returning linebackers in the country before his senior season in 1999. During his senior season, he started every game and totaled 47 tackles, including 20 unassisted. He started every game of his junior season in the linebacker spot, where he totaled 59 tackes and 11 tackles for loss. He also logged five sacks and caused one fumble. During his sophomore year, he had 41 tackles, including seven tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks.
Now: Tarrell graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1999 with a degree in business management with a marketing minor. He played briefly with the Cincinnati Bengals before he was sidelined by a knee injury. Tarrell is currently living in Tulsa, where he just bought a home. He is employed by Bank One as the head Loan Investment Officer for the Apache Branch, where he acquires and manages assets of approximately $28 million. In his free time, he coaches a middle school football team.
