Cowgirl Soccer Sweeps Instate Rivals

Oklahoma State earned the shutout against Tulsa in the first game of the day. Allison Vaughn notched the only goal of the contest in the first half and the Cowgirls held on for the win.
Kendra Rainbolt started the contest in net and Erin Corbin played the final 45 minutes.
Against ORU, Jolene Schweitzer gave Oklahoma State a 1-0 lead at intermission. The Golden Eagles evened the score in the second period, knocking a blooper over the head of Rainbolt.
The Cowgirls then took control of the game, adding a pair of goals to secure the win. Nikki Wojtowicz scored on a penalty kick and Leah Carr tallied the final goal of the afternoon.
Corbin earned the start against ORU and Rainbolt closed out the contest, surrendering the lone goal of the day.
The Cowgirls close out the spring season next weekend against Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark.
