Men's Track Heads to OU Classic

Oklahoma State's men's track and field team will try to improve on its times as it heads to the OU Classic on Saturday, Jan. 30, in Norman, Okla.
The Cowboys are coming off an outstanding performance in the 3,000m at the Bank of Fayetteville Invitational last weekend.
OSU had four out of the top six finishes in the event, paced by junior Chuck Sloan's first-place finish (8:14.31). Seniors Nathaniel Lane, Brian Young and Gitogo Churu finished fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively.
In the mile run, senior Andrew Hennessy finished the race in ninth, with a time of 4:13.93.
The meets starts with field events at 11 a.m., with track events following at 1 p.m. The meet will wrap up with the men's 4x400m relay at 5:05 p.m.
