Cowgirls to Compete in OU Classic

The Cowgirls will be looking to to lock down qualifying times for nationals as they travel to Norman, Okla. for the OU Classic Saturday, Jan. 30.

Following a strong performance at the Bank of Fayetteville Invitational the Cowgirls will try and better the three individual titles they brought home last weekend.

Hanna Smedstad won the 3,000m in a time of 9:45.48 while Andrea Holloway won the shot put with a throw of 45-5.75. Megan Robbins tied for first place in the pole vault, jumping 11-1.

The meet is scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m. with the weight throw and conclude following the men's 4X400 relay at 5:05 p.m. The running events are slated to start at 1:00 p.m.
