Cowgirls Travel To Norman For Oklahoma Track Classic

Several of Oklahoma State's distance runners for the women's track team will travel to Norman, Okla., tomorrow to compete in the Oklahoma Track Classic.

The meet will be held Saturday afternoon at the Mosier Indoor Facility at the University of Oklahoma. The Cowgirls are not scheduled to run in an event until 1:00 p.m.

There will be five schools from the Big 12 Conference competing on Saturday. In addition to OSU and OU, Baylor, Texas A&M and Texas will participate in the meet.

The only member of the Cowgirl team who will compete in an event other than distance is Tiffany Davis. Davis will compete in the hurdle events.

Next weekend, several Cowgirls will travel to Fayetteville, Ark. The following weekend, the whole team will travel to Lawrence, Kan.
