Missouri Edges Cowboys in Overtime

Missouri (3-5, 1-3 Big 12) has won four of its last six meetings against Oklahoma State (4-4, 1-4) and leads the all-time series, 24-19. The Cowboys had a chance to tie the score but quarterback Tone Jones overthrew a receiver on fourth-and-goal from the 4-yard line.
Jones completed 14-of-24 passes for 235 yards and four touchdowns.
Missouri quarterback Corby Jones ran for 193 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries. Corby Jones had touchdown runs of 15 and one yard and Alonzo Mayes caught a 52-yard touchdown pass from Tone Jones as Missouri took a 14-7 lead after the first.
Tone Jones tossed a 33-yard scoring pass to Willie Grissom as Oklahoma State tied the score 14-14 in the third. Corby Jones ran 11 yards for a score as Missouri regained the lead, 21-14.
Tone Jones added a 19-yard touchdown pass to Mayes as Oklahoma State tied the score 21-21 in the fourth.
Ron James caught a 29-yard scoring pass from Corby Jones as Missouri regained the lead 28-21. But Tone Jones hooked up with Andre Richardson on a 15-yard scoring pass with 37 seconds to send the game into overtime.
