Women's Track Looking Towards Busy Weekend

On Friday, the Cowgirls will compete at the Pomona-Pitzer Track and Field Invitational, in Claremont, Calif. Also on Friday, they will compete at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark.
The Pomona-Pitzer will begin on Friday with the hammer at 10 a.m. and conclude with the 200m dash at 4:40 p.m.
The Tyson Invitational will be hilighted by the OSU sprint squad. All-American Sherita Jackson will run both the 100m and 200m dash. The meet will begin on Friday with the javelin and conclude on Saturday with the finals of the 200m dash.
The Mt. SAC Relays starts Saturday, with Nancy Guillen competing in the hammer at 1 p.m. The meet will run through Sunday.
Guillen is coming off a personal best of 196-10 in the hammer last weekend at the John Jacobs Invitational. Her mark ranks her fifth in the country going into this weekend's competition.
