Cowgirls Headed to Texas Relays

Representing the Cowgirls at the track festivities will be Juniors, Sherita Jackson, Melody Vaughn, Andrene Thompson and sophomore Natasha Santee in the sprints.
The Cowgirl 4X100m relay will be carrying the third best Big 12 performance into Austin this weekend. The relay squad of Melody Vaughn, Andrene Thompson, Natasha Santee and Sherita Jackson recorded a 46.19 at the Kaye Barrett Droke Track on March 21 while hosting the OSU Duals in Stillwater, Okla.
Vaughn will be joined by junior Tina Nixon in the jump department.
The distances will be handled by sophomore Hanna Smedstad and juniors Tamara Dingley, Andrene Thompson and Jenny Koch.
The Cowboys will be idle this week as they rest and prepare for the Searay Relays in Knoxville, Tenn on April 12.
