Oklahoma State Track Competes in California

Oklahoma State's track teams competed well in the Mt.Sac Relays this weekend.

Cowgirls Tracyan Baker and Sherita Jackson finished first and second in the 200-meter dash, respectively. OSU's 4x100-meter relay team, consisting of Jackson, Baker, Cynthia Midkiff, and Melody Vaughn, placed first in the meet. The 4x400-meter relay team placed second with a 3:37.44 time.

Andrene Thompson performed well in the 800-meter run in 2:10.67. Cecilly Carrier placed sixth (39-5) in the triple-jump competition.

Oklahoma State's track teams will travel to Philadelphia, Penn. April 24-26 to compete at the Penn Relays.
