Lindquist, Nilsson Will Compete in California

Alexandra Lindquist and Marie Nilsson will compete in the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational on Friday and the Mt. SAC Relays on Saturday in Walnut, California.

Lindquist, a sophomore All-American, ran well the last time out in California. She competed in the Stanford Invitational on April 1 and posted a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 4:22.94 in the 1,500-meter.

Freshman Marie Nilsson has ran well in her first collegiate track season. She competed in both the Texas Relays and the UTA Invitational earlier this season. She posted a time of 4:42.37 in the 1,500-meter at Texas and a time of 2:16.06 in the 800-meter at UTA.

Nilsson and Lindquist are both scheduled to run the 800-meter on Friday in the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational and the 1,500-meter Saturday evening in the Mt. SAC Relays.
