May 22, 2003 | Cowgirl Cross Country & Track
Carrier won the triple jump with a leap of 40 feet, 11.75 inches, and finished sixth in the long jump at 18 feet.
Framme continued her recent hot streak by earning yet another 1500-meter title, running the race in 4:27.30 and just out-running her closest competitor, teammate Hanna Smedstad, who finished in 4:27.87.
The OSU 4x100 relay team won that event in a time of 45.56 seconds, just 0.26 off NCAA provisional qualifying pace. Earlier in the day, sprinters Tracyan Baker and Sherita Jackson had won preliminary heats in the 100, while Cynthia Midkiff finished second to Jackson in their heat and Andrene Thompson took second in the 400-meter final.
The Cowgirls will next compete in the Big 12 Championship in Waco, Texas, May 16-18.
