Cowgirl Track Competes in Arlington

Oklahoma State's women's track and field team will compete in the UTA Invitational at Maverick Stadium on the University of Texas at Arlington campus in Arlington, Texas on March 30.
Siri Alfheim will make her first appearance of the outdoor season in the 1,500-meter run. Alfheim's last race was her national championship in the 5,000-meter run at the 2002 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark.
Four Cowgirls will be making their first appearance of the spring. Paula Gowing and Catherine Clifford will join Alfheim in the 1,500-meter run. Clifford will also run in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Laurel Catlett-King and Leigh Ann Tracy will both take part in throwing events. Catlett-King will throw the Javelin and Tracy will hurl the discus.
The Cowgirls will join several Big 12 schools at the Texas Relays next weekend in Austin, Texas on April 3-6.
