Cowboy Wrestling Adds Texan to Recruiting Class

The Rockwall, Texas, native wrestled four ears for Rockwall High School where he won three state championships and finished his career with a 177-4 record.
The 189-pounder blistered his competition during his final two years at Rockwall, tallying 93 wins against zero losses. Out of the 93 wins, 73 came by fall and 14 by technical fall.
Kehrer was a four-time Texas All-State Wrestling Award winner and added the Texas State Most Outstanding Wrestler to his list of accomplishments. He was a four-time Most Valuable Wrestler and had to most takedowns, near falls and pins on his team.
He had a string of 130 wins through his final three years of high school and had 38 consecutive pins. He was a NHSCA All-American and is ranked in the top 10 according to NHSCA, InterMat, Amateur Wrestling News and Wrestling USA Magazine.
Kehrer also played football where he was a three-year letter winner. He is the son of Gary and Linda Kehrer and plans on majoring in business and Engineering.
