Georgia Tech Turns Back Oklahoma State

Georgia Tech stayed alive in the NCAA Regionals by scoring five runs in the top of the ninth to beat Oklahoma State 6-5 on Sunday afternoon.
The Yellow Jackets played Arizona State on Sunday for the right to go to the College World Series.
The Yellow Jackets pounded out 14 hits and Simon Young pitched the final 3.2 innings to pick up the win as he improved to 3-2. Jay Hood had his 10th homer of the year for the Yellow Jackets. Hood and Matt Boggs each had three hits for the Yellow Jackets with Hood picking up three RBI's.
Dale Pearson (5-4) was the losing pitcher for Oklahoma State.
