Cowboys Fall in First Game of Big 12 Tournament

Texas A&M scored two runs in the first inning, when Erik Sobek had a two RBI base hit. A&M later scored another run in the third with a solo home run by Craig Kuzmic. The Aggies would get their last run of the afternoon with a lead off triple by Steven Truitt. He scored off a Steve Scarborough single.
Oklahoma State reliever Frank Bludau came into the game in the fifth and pitched three and two-thirds scoreless innings striking out three.
OSU scored in the fifth inning with a Kevin Lucas solo home run. The Pokes would score two more runs in the eighth and ninth innings. With the score 4-2, Oklahoma State's Josh Holliday hit an RBI double. With Holliday on second Tony Lucca struck out looking.
Oklahoma State will play the loser of the Missouri-Baylor game at 11 a.m. on Friday.
