Time Change For OSU Tailgating Championship

With the Oklahoma State vs. Missouri football game starting at 11:30 a.m., there has been a change in time for the 1997 OSU Tailgating Championship.

Judging will now begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 25 instead of the previously scheduled 11:00 AM.

Entrants in the tailgating championship will be judged on a scale from 1 to 10 in the following categories: creativity, food, spirit, and presentation/set up, with the entrant having the highest combined score declared the winner.

All entrants are asked to have two plates of food for the judges to sample during the judging.

The winning entrant will receive a traveling trophy and a catered tailgate party for the Texas Tech game for 25 people, compliments of the Jardiniere Restaurant in Yale.

The 1997 Cowboy Tailgating Championship is sponsored by the Tulsa World and the OSU POSSE, Providing Opportunities for Scholastic and Sports Excellence..
