OSU Offensive Tackle Receives Academic Honors

Sophomore offensive tackle Kyle Eaton was named to the Verizon District VI football academic all-star team due to his perfect 4.0 grade point average in management information systems.

Eaton, who has started all eight games this season for the Cowboys at left tackle, was selected to the team by a vote by the District VI sports information directors in the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

With the award Eaton is automatically eligible for Academic All-American honors which will be announced on Dec. 5.
