Cowboy Ryan Budde Invited To USA Baseball National Team Trials

Budde was selected to the trials last year but did not make the team. The Midwest City native is currently batting .311 and is second on the team with eight homers and 38 RBIs.
Baylor pitcher Zane Carlson and catcher Kelly Shoppach were the only other players from the Big 12 invited to the trials, and Shoppach the only other catcher.
Southern California's Mike Gillespie will serve as the head coach for the team. For interested scouts, this team will be holding practice sessions at the Hi Corbett Field facilities in Tucson beginning Friday, June 16. The official team roster will be determined and announced on June 21.
