Baseball Cruises Past Southwest Texas

Oklahoma State's Josh Holliday, Marc Fournier, and Jay McCullough lifted the Cowboys to an early 3-1 lead in the second inning with solo home runs.
In the sixth, the Pokes scored three runs with a spark from Fournier's second home run of the night. In the inning, McCullough hit one of his two doubles of the night, and later scored with the help of a Tony Roossien triple. Kevin Lucas later scored Roossien from third.
The Bobcats would come back in the top of the eighth with three runs from a Anthony Dominguez bases loaded fly ball that was dropped by OSU's centerfielder Matt Mabrey.
Oklahoma State ended the game in high fashion scoring six runs in the eighth. Billy Gasparino doubled which scored Steve Hill and Jim Bo McAuliff. Tony Lucca had an RBI single, and Fournier ended the day on with a two RBI double. McCullough added his second double to the hitting fest which scored Fournier.
Oklahoma State and Southwest Texas will play tomorrow in Stillwater. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
