OSU was sparked in the second inning with Josh Holliday crushing a solo Home run that broke the 0-0 tie. The Pokes later rallied four more runs in the third inning, with Billy Gasparino hitting a sac fly that scored a Jim Bo McAullif who walked on base. With two Wolfpack errors in the inning OSU took a commanding lead, 4-0.
In the fifth inning, Tony Roossien lined a two RBI triple down the first baseline that score Tony Lucca who singled and Jay McCullough who walked.
The Cowboys placed two more runs on the scoreboard in the ninth, including freshman Trent Kitsch hitting an RBI base hit, and Steve Hill scoring off a wild pitch.
Oklahoma State will be in action at home this weekend, April 10-12, against Western Illinois. Game times are set for 7 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
