Newcomers Report For Beginning of Football Practice

The group that reported to Stillwater Tuesday included scholarship freshmen and a few walkons.
"This is always an exciting day because we are welcoming new student-athletes to our campus and we're ready to get into our preseason preparation," said sixth-year OSU Head Coach Bob Simmons. "As far as this class is concerned, we were impressed with them when we signed them in February and we still are. I think this is a good class and we're anxious to get them on the field to begin the learning process."
The Cowboy rookies will be given physical exams and be issued equipment Wednesday morning before going through their initial workout Wednesday afternoon. A pair of practices are scheduled for Thursday.
Oklahoma State's veterans report to Stillwater Friday.
