Baseball Wins in 14th Inning

Oklahoma State collected its first grand slam home run of the season when Marc Fournier blasted a shot over the right field fence.
In the top half of the second, WIU collected a run when Ed Vize hit a double into the right field gap and teammate Derek Genthner hit an RBI single.
The Leathernecks later rallied two runs in the fifth, with Genthner walking and stealing both second and third. He would score off a sac fly by Justin Wohlers.
In the top of the ninth, Oklahoma State's shortstop Kevin Lucas let an ground ball slip between his legs scoring the streaking Steve Luke from second. He got on base due to a base hit.
Then in the 14th inning, OSU's Billy Gasparino hit a triple and would later score with a Rusty Puffinbarger base hit to end the game.
Oklahoma State and Western Illinois will play tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium. The series will concluded Easter Sunday, at 2 p.m. OSU will host an Easter egg hunt before the game.
