Oklahoma State Loses to Virginia in Big Ball Classic

Oklahoma State lost its final game of the Big Ball Classic to Virginia, 4-2, Sunday afternoon.
Virginia scored two runs in the fourth inning to take the first lead of the game.
The Cowboys did not score until the seventh inning when Kevin Lucas had a single to left field scoring Lance Smith.
OSU freshman Matt Smith made his first start for the Cowboys pitching 6.1 innings, with five strikeouts, and two earned runs.
The Cowboys will begin a ten game home stand this weekend with Southern Illinois on Friday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m.
