Baseball Takes Two from Texas A&M

Oklahoma State (11-8, 4-3 Big 12) out lasted Texas A&M (18-8, 5-4 Big 12) in a double header Saturday afternoon. The score of the first game was 9-6 in favor of the Pokes, and the second game score was 9-2, Cowboys. In the first game, it was senior Steve Hill who hit a base-clearing triple with the bases loaded in the eighth inning that vaulted the Cowboys to a three-run lead. The score was tied at six before the triple. OSU's Jay McCullough came up big for the Pokes, by going 3-for-4 with two home runs, and a double. In the nightcap, the Cowboys exploded for six runs in the first two innings to take control of the game early. Matt Mabrey came up big for OSU, going 3-for-4, with a triple.The Cowboys will play Oral Roberts, Wednesday, March 18, at 5 p.m. at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.
