Baseball Shut out by Texas A&M

Oklahoma State (9-8, 2-3 Big 12) was shut out Friday afternoon at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium by Texas A&M (18-6, 5-2 Big 12), 8-0.
The day belonged to Texas A&M's Ryan Rupe, who threw a one-hit complete game against the Cowboys. Rupe had a no hitter through eight innings when OSU's Kevin Lucas had a base hit into left field.
The last time that the Cowboys were shut out at home was March 20, 1996 against Kansas State. In the game, the Pokes had three hits.
The Oklahoma State-Texas A&M series will resume Saturday, March 14, at 2 p.m.
