Smith picked up his third win of the season after baffling Aztec batters, limiting them to three hits and striking out 10 in six shutout innings of work.
The Cowboys opened up the game with four consecutive hits with Lamont Matthews, Billy Gasparino and Chris Becerra picking up RBIs.
Jimbo McAuliff powered the Cowboys six-run third with a pinch-hit three-run homer, his first of the season.
Gasparino led Oklahoma State at the plate going three-for-five with three runs scored.
The Cowboys scored in double digits for the fourth time in five games, the only blemish being the 1-0 loss to Oregon State on Thursday.
Oklahoma State will be back in action Saturday afternoon as they take on Loyola-Marymount at 3 p.m. PST/5 p.m. CST.
