OSU Career: Sparks made her debut in the 10,000-meter run in California during the 2002 outdoor track season ... she established her personal best of 38:21.46 at the 2002 Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championships ... Sparks finished 76th in the 2001 Cowboy Jamboree with a time of 19:47 and will run the distance events for the track team ... she competed in every team event as a freshman on the cross country team ... finished 36th at the UTEP Opener and 49th at the Cowboy Jamboree .. she was 65th in the Big 12. High School: She was All-State in cross country and a member of the Daily Oklahoman All-City Cross Country Team ... she was a three year state medalist in track. Personal: Born on March 31, 1982 ... majoring in psychology ... she enjoys biking and hiking ... Sharalee has three brothers, David (18), Jesse (14), and Micah (12) ... she is the daughter of Lonnie Sparks and Susanna Long.
