Spring 2002: Ryan started all 52 games behind the plate last season. She hit .287 to lead the team, with 45 hits in 157 at bats. Ryan had 25 runs scored, 35 runs batted in and a .349 on-base percentage. She was tied for a team-high 10 doubles and led the squad with two triples. Ryan also had 11 home runs, good for second on the squad and second in the all-time Cowgirl season record books. She had eight errors in 453 chances in the field, a .982 fielding percentage. After a successful year, Ryan was a second-team All-Big 12 selection as well as a second-team All-Region selection.
Fall 2001: Ryan started all nine games for the Cowgirls during the fall. She led the team with a .607 batting average, going 17-for-28 at the plate. She scored 11 runs, had 15 runs batted in and a .633 on-base percentage. She had four doubles and four home runs, leading to a team-high 1.179 slugging percentage. Ryan was also perfect from the field in 37 chances.
Spring 2001: Ryan started all 51 games for the Cowgirls. She batted .279, with 41 hits in 147 at-bats. Ryan had 11 doubles, one triple and led the Cowgirls with six homeruns en route to a .490 slugging percentage. She had 12 runs scored, 20 runs batted in and a .347 on-base-percentage. She had just five errors in 399 chances, a .987 fielding percentage. Ryan was named to the All-Big 12 second-team as a catcher and also earned first-team Academic All-Big 12 honors.
Fall 2000: Ryan started all 19 games for the Cowgirls in the fall, 16 at catcher and three at designated player. She was third on the team in batting with a .471 average. She led the team in hits with 24, at-bats with 51, doubles with nine and runs batted in with 20. Ryan had a .706 slugging percentage and a .491 on-base average. She was successful on both stolen-base attempts. Ryan had just one error in 108 chances in the field, a .991 fielding percentage. Behind the plate, she threw out 4-of-11 base stealers, or 36 percent.
Spring 2000: Ryan played and started in 45 games for the Cowgirls, rotating between catcher and the outfield. She hit .230, with 29 hits in 126 at-bats. She had 16 runs scored, 15 runs batted in and a .322 on-base percentage. She had seven doubles and two home runs leading to a .333 slugging percentage. Ryan had just four errors in 171 chances in the field, a .977 fielding percentage. She was named first-team All-Big 12 as a utility player.
Fall 1999: Ryan started all eight games for the Cowgirls during the fall, and had a .368 batting average, with seven hits in 19 at-bats. She scored two runs, had three walks, a .455 on-base percentage, and was perfect in the field in 27 chances. She was also perfect on her only stolen-base attempt.
Prep: Ryan lettered three years for coach Mike Hurt at Del City High School, and was team captain one year. She was the team Most Valuable Player all three years. Ryan was named the All-Big City Player of the Year in 1999, and was named first-team All-Big City both her junior and senior seasons. Del City was two-time regional champions in both 1997 and '98. Ryan played basketball for nine years and played golf for two seasons.
Personally: Born Feb. 10, 1981, Ryan is the daughter of David and Margaret Realmuto. She has two brothers, Tony (24) and Jacob (11), and a sister, Amanda (15). Ryan is majoring in physical education at Oklahoma State, and enjoys hanging out with friends, lifting weights and playing basketball.
