High School: Justin was a four-year letterwinner from Westlake High School in Austin, Texas. He also captured two state championships and Greco state championships. He was awarded Regional Most Outstanding Wrestler and placed in the top three twice in freestyle.

Personal: He is the son of Glenn and Nancy Wood. He has three sisters, Kim Rebecca and Rachel. He enjoys playing video games, sleeping, eating and watching videos. He plans on majoring in business. He was born on Oct. 18, 1983.
