2002: Deason played in nine games and recorded 11 tackles, eight of those coming unassisted, along with one for a loss. He did not play in the season opener, but recorded one tackle in the home opener against Northern Iowa. He snagged five more tackles against SMU, three coming unassisted. He also had one tackle against Texas A&M, and one against Kansas. Deason finished the year with three tackles, two solo tackles against Baylor, and one assisted tackle against Oklahoma.
Junior College: Transferred to OSU from Butler County Community College.
High School: Two-year letterman at Norman. Was all-district, All-Conference and All-Big City.
Personal: Born March 23, 1980, in Oklahoma City. Son of Steve and Michelle Deason of Norman. Has two sisters, Elizabeth and Kate.
