2002: Batted .283 with six homers and 40 RBIs in 52 games ... started 49 games before suffering a season ending ankle injury against Oklahoma on 5/16 ... successful on 14-of-15 base stealing attempts ... had 14 multiple hit games and nine multiple RBI games ... was 6-for-7 with the bases loaded ... went 3-5 in a mid-week series against San Francisco ... was 2-2 with three runs batted in against Memphis (3/26) ... went 2-4 with a homerun and four RBIs against Centenary on (4/17) ... had five RBIs against Southern on (5/13) ... was named an honorable-mention All-Big 12 performer.
2001: Batted .301 with 14 doubles and 62 RBI in 61 games ... had the second-longest hitting streak of the season at 13 games ... had 21 multi-hit games ... was 5-for-13 in the Texas A&M series ... went 7-for-12 in three games against K-State ... was 6-for-12 with 10 RBI in a four-game stretch against SE Missouri and Princeton ... made the Caballero Classic All-Tournament Team after collecting seven hits in 11 at-bats; also scored seven times and drove in a pair of runs ... went 5-for-6 with three runs scored and two RBI against UC Riverside (2/4) ... scored four times against San Diego State (2/3) ... went 2-for-5 with two RBI against Miami (2/11) ... homered in OSUs win over Washington State (2/18) and drove in three runs.
2000: Division II Junior College All-American in lone season at Phoenix College in Phoenix, Ariz. ... batted .435 with nine homers en route to all-conference and all-region plaudits ... also considered Arizona State.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-year letterwinner at Mountain Ridge High ... versatile athlete who played in the infield, outfield and behind the plate ... was a two-time all-state selection on the diamond ... also lettered three-years in football as a strong safety/linebacker ... was a first-team all-state selection as a senior.
