Collegiate Experience: Mclain was a lone star conference champion for the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond ... she was a member of the all-conference team. High School: Mclain finished sixth in the discus as a freshman ... won state in both the shot put and the discus her junior and senior years ... her senior year she was fifth in the shot put, while winning the title for a third year in a row in the discus. Personal: Born on Sept. 24, 1981 ... also enjoys piano and performing community service ... was a poer hitting shortstop on the high school softball team ... was also sought after by Wichita State, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas ... is a business and marketing major ... has two brothers: Katrecia (27) and Aaron (16) ... her father Frank played football at Langston in the 1970s ... she is the daughter of Frank and Patricia McClain.
