Track Excels in the Classroom

Oklahoma State's men's and women's track and field teams continue to excel in the classroom. Both teams were nationally ranked by the United States Track Coaches Association in team grade point average.
The men's team was ranked eighth out of 13 teams selected with a GPA of 3.06, while the Cowgirls were ranked 11th out of 50 teams with a GPA of 3.25.
Junior Jason Woolhouse received All-Academic honors. Woolhouse recently won the Spike Shoe Invitational in State College, Pa. over the weekend.
Sophomore Valentina Medina and grad student Siri Alfheim received individual honors for the women's team. Medina was a national qualifier in the indoor mile, while Alfheim won the indoor championship in the 5k and was runner-up in outdoor.
