2001: Started the first six games of the season at right corner. His season statistics included 21 total tackles, one tackle for loss and one pass break up. Had four tackles in the season opener at Southern Miss and four more tackles and a pass deflection against Missouri on Lewis Field.
2000: Earned his second OSU letter by playing in 10 of the 11 games and registering five total tackles and a pass deflection.
1999: Played in nine games and was officially credited with six solo tackles. He had one sack for a five-yard loss.
1998: Redshirted as a true freshman at OSU.
High School: Rated as a SuperPrep top 100 player in Texas, Holmes helped John Tyler High School advance to the semifinals of the Class 5A playoffs his senior season. In 15 games, he ran for 500 yards and scored six touchdowns. On the defensive side, he had 49 total tackles and blocked a punt and had two interceptions. Was all-district and All-East Texas. Chose Oklahoma State over Kentucky and Baylor.
Personal: Born Oct. 29, 1979, in Dallas, Texas. Son of Carolyn Holmes and Robert Miller. He has four sisters: Nicole, Jackie, Briony and Bethony. Majoring in engineering.
