2001: Five starts and nine games to his credit. Denard had 21 carries for 77 yards. That’s a 3.7 average per carry that will work for a fullback.
2000: Played in three games and had one reception for a 13-yard touchdown.
1999: Saw action in game vs. Tulsa, but had no statistics. 1998: His redshirt season at OSU.
High School: Oklahoma State went west for this outstanding running back. His accolades included all-city, All-East Bay and MVP of his team his senior year. Came to OSU with reputation as a ferocious hitter. Also talented baseball player who was an All-American, all-city and team MVP. Also recruited by California, Utah and Boise State.
Personal: Born May 26, 1980, in San Leandro, Calif. Son of Carolyn and Leroy Denard. He has three brothers: Leroy, Jr., Norman and Anthony.
