2001: Brown started all 11 regular-season games at nose guard. His season statistics included 47 tackles, six tackles for -19 yards, four sacks for -16 yards, three pass deflections and one fumble recovery. One of his pass deflections and one sack came in OSUs 16-13 win over fourth-ranked Oklahoma in Norman.
2000: Played in all 11 games but did not gain a start. He registered 19 total tackles; three tackles for loss, one sack, two pass deflections and a fumble recovery. His fumble recovery was returned 57 yards.
1999: Earned his first varsity letter. Played in nine regular-season games, finishing with seven tackles. Three of his tackles were for losses, an example of his ability to penetrate the line. He also had one fumble forced.
1998: His redshirt season at Oklahoma State.
High School: Defensive line prospect who had an outstanding career at Whitehouse, Texas. Was all-district and All-East Texas. His statistics included 42 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and six sacks. Also started three years on the basketball team. In addition to OSU, he was recruited by Arkansas, Northwestern and Illinois. Threw the shot put and discus in track.
Personal: Born June 12, 1980, in Tyler, Texas. Son of Barbara and Larrell Brown. Has two brothers, Travor and Jerod, and one sister, LaMeshiale.
