OSU Career: Clifford was a starter for the 2001 cross country team that finished 18th at nationals ... she finished 50th in the 2001 Big 12 Cross Country Championships and followed that up by finishing 67th at the Midwest Regionals ... she ran in the 2001 NCAA Championships and finished 193rd ... she competed in 2000 as a freshman ... she finished 27th at the UTEP Opener with a time of 19:52 ... she finished 32nd at the SMU Invitational with a time of 20:03 ... she finished 70th at the Cowboy Jamboree with a time of 20:18.
High School: Her senior year she was the state and district champion in cross country ... her junior year she was All-District and All-State ... in track she won the state championship in the 1600m and the 3200m.
Personal: Born on June 10, 1982 ... majoring in English ... she enjoys playing guitar and listening to music ... Catherine has three sisters, Jordan (25), Erin (24), and Hatley (16) ... she is the daughter of John and Nancy Clifford.
