Jackson Named Big 12 Conference Defensive Player Of The Week

Oklahoma State's Jeni Jackson was named the Big 12 Conference's Defensive Player of the Week in soccer, it was announced today by the league office.
Jackson, a sophomore from Broken Arrow, Okla., scored three goals in the final six minutes of OSU's 3-2 win over Oklahoma last Friday. The hat trick was the first by a Cowgirl since 1997, and advanced Oklahoma State to the Big 12 Tournament for the first time in school history.
Jackson and the rest of the Cowgirls will face the eighth-ranked Texas A&M Aggies, the No. 1 seed in the Big 12 Tournament, on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. in San Antonio, Texas.
