Cody Birk will be a featured athlete as a freshman for the Cowgirl track team in the spring. High School: Birk was an all-district performer in three sports in high school ... she was first team all-district in volleyball and basketball ... in track she was a regional champion in the long jump, triple jump and mile relay ... she was a state finalist in those three events as well ... she was named to the All-South Texas Track Team for her performance in the long jump and triple jump in each of her final two years of high school. Personal: Born on March 15, 1984 ... Cody Birl was also members of the basketball team in high school ... she enjoys reading poems, taking pictures and going to the beach ... she was also sought after by Texas, Kansas State, Oklahoma Baptist, Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Texas A&M Kingsville ... Cody has three brothers: Matthew (32), Aaron (27) and James (24) and a sister Samantha McMillan (33) ... she is the daughter of Stephen and Deborah Birk.
