Whitey Herzog To Speak At Cowboy Baseball Winter Bash

Herzog managed for 18 years in the major leagues for the Texas Rangers, California Angels, Kansas City Royals and the St. Louis Cardinals. He led the Royals to the American League Championship Series in three consecutive seasons from 1976-78 and led the Cardinals to a world championship in 1982, along with World Series appearances in 1985 and 1987. He finished his managerial career in 1990 with a record of 1281-1125.
In addition to Herzog, several former Cowboy players will be in attendance to share stories and memories of their professional baseball careers.
The event, sponsored by the Cowboy Baseball Club, costs $100 per plate and $800 per table. The proceeds of the Bash will go towards the Reynolds Stadium Development Fund.
