Oklahoma State's Jolene Schweitzer was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.
The Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, native earned the honor after scoring five points in OSU's two wins over the weekend. The sophomore leads the Cowgirls with five goals and 12 points this year, after pacing the squad with eight goals last season.
In Oklahoma State's win over Western Kentucky last Thursday, Schweitzer scored the game winner at the 26:29 mark and assisted Krista Dedmon seven minutes later.
Schweitzer also pulled in the deciding goal at Arkansas on Sunday to complete the second period comeback by the Cowgirls.
