OSU Golf Finishes 11th at Las Vegas Collegiate

The Cowboys' 30-over-par total came in two shots behind Ohio State and 50 strokes behind tournament winner Georgia Tech, who finished with a 20-under team score of 844.
In the individual race, sophomore Hunter Mahan led OSU with a 27th-place finish after carding a final-round 76 to finish with a three-over-par 219 total.
Senior Anders Hultman carded his second consecutive 73 to finish tied for 39th at six-over-par, while freshman Alex Norén finished tied for 45th after recording a one-under 71 on Sunday, giving him a three-day total of 225.
Sophomore Pär Nilsson finished with a 14-over-total of 230 after carding a 79 to tie with three other players for 61st place.
J.C. DeLeon rounded out the Cowboy lineup, coming in with a 77 to give the junior a 240 total for the tournament.
OSU will return to action on March 25 at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate in Austin, Texas.
