Cowboys Recognized For Academic Achievement

Junior Anders Hultman, who was also honored as a Ping First-Team All-American, and Peter Davidson were recognized by the GCAA for their performances athletically and scholastically. To qualify for the honor, student-athletes must be a junior or senior academically, maintain a minimum grade-point average, compete in at least 75 percent of his teamÕs varsity competitive rounds and maintain a minimum stroke average set by the GCAA.
Hultman, a native of Gothenburg, Sweden, won three tournaments this season and had a team-best 71.44 stroke average. In the classroom, the international business major was also a member of the Academic All-Big 12 First Team.
Davidson competed in 19 tournaments during his four-year career and recorded a 76.18 stroke average during his senior season. The Hollviken, Sweden, native graduated from OSU in May with a 4.0 GPA in finance and was a three-time Academic All-Big 12 pick.
